KARAM Safety TPGS20R is a 20-metre Retrieval Fall Arrester Block — a dual-function self-retracting lifeline with integrated winch retrieval capability (SRL-R) — designed for working environments where victim rescue and retrieval must be planned for alongside standard fall arrest. Certified to EN 360:2002 and essential for confined space entry, tower work, and elevated industrial operations, the TPGS20R is a critical component of complete fall protection and rescue systems across the UAE, GCC, and MENA region.
The TPGS20R operates in two independent, switchable modes. In fall arrest mode, the retractable 20-metre galvanised steel wire rope provides automatic tension management and near-instant fall arrest — identical in performance to the standard TPGS20. In winch retrieval mode, the integrated hoisting mechanism allows a rescuer to raise an incapacitated worker from a fall arrest position or confined space — a rescue capability that is legally required on many confined space and elevated work job sites across the UAE and GCC under regional health and safety regulations.
The independent locking pin, located on the side of the casing at the base of the handle, enables the two operating modes to function entirely independently, preventing accidental mode switching during critical rescue operations. The polymer casing is virtually indestructible in field conditions, and the PN162 swivel steel snap hook with load indicator at the attachment end maintains consistent compliance and post-incident management standards.
