KARAM Safety TPGS25 is a 25-metre Retractable Fall Arrester Block providing one of the longest-range self-retracting lifeline (SRL) options in KARAM’s polymer-casing block range. Engineered for offshore platforms, large transmission towers, tall process columns, and wide-span structural steelwork where workers require a longer lifeline range without sacrificing the immediate fall arrest response of a quality SRL, the TPGS25 is EN 360:2002 certified and part of KARAM’s trusted fall protection portfolio available across the UAE, GCC, and global safety markets.
The 25-metre galvanised steel wire rope automatically retracts and extends as the worker moves, maintaining constant tension throughout the full working range to prevent hazardous slack accumulation. KARAM’s centrifugal braking mechanism activates immediately in a fall event, locking the wire rope and arresting the fall with minimum distance and force. The high-impact polymer casing withstands the physical and environmental demands of Middle East construction and offshore operations.
The swivel anchorage eye prevents twist of the wire rope during working movement or at fall arrest, maintaining lifeline integrity throughout the block’s service life. The PN162 swivel steel snap hook with integrated load indicator at the attachment end enables immediate identification of fall arrest activation for post-incident inspection and PPE management compliance.
