KARAM Safety TPGS06 is a 6-metre Retractable Fall Arrester Block (self-retracting lifeline / SRL) from KARAM’s extensive certified polymer-casing retractable block range — one of the most widely deployed fall arrest solutions on construction, oil & gas, and industrial sites across the UAE, GCC, and over 140 countries. Certified to EN 360:2002, the TPGS06 provides reliable, near-instant fall arrest for workers operating at height.
The high-impact strength polymer casing is virtually indestructible under the physical conditions of active construction and industrial use — resisting impacts, drops, and environmental exposure to maintain structural integrity throughout the product’s service life. KARAM’s polymer block casing has been specifically engineered to withstand the harsh conditions common on UAE and GCC project sites, including heat, UV, and humidity.
The galvanised steel wire rope lifeline (6 metres) retracts automatically as the worker moves, maintaining constant tension and eliminating hazardous slack that could increase fall distance or create a tripping hazard. In the event of a sudden fall, KARAM’s braking mechanism — featuring the unique Four Point Centrifugal Braking (FPCB) system — locks immediately, minimising fall distance and reducing the arrest force experienced by the worker.
The swivel anchorage eye prevents undesirable rope twist during movement or at fall arrest, maintaining lifeline integrity. The PN162 swivel steel snap hook with load indicator at the attachment end provides a clear visual signal if the device has been subjected to fall arrest forces — enabling immediate post-incident identification and safe retirement from service.
